Awakened Self: A Somatic IFS Experience

Awakened Self
A Somatic IFS Experience
Online · Monday Evenings
Maximum 8 Participants · Application Required
An Invitation
There is something quiet and steady within you.
In Somatic IFS, we call it Self — the place that can witness, soften, and lead with clarity and compassion.
Awakened Self is a 12-week space to gently turn toward that place — not through theory, but through lived experience in the body.
This is not a training.
It is not a therapy group.
It does not replace individual therapy.
It is a guided space to experience the practices of Somatic IFS in real time — within yourself, and alongside others who are also willing to move slowly and honestly.
If you are already in therapy, this space may deepen and support that work.
If you are simply curious about your inner world, it may offer a grounded beginning.
The Shape of the Journey
We meet every second week on Monday evenings in a small, intentional group.
These live sessions include:
-
Gentle guidance into embodied awareness
-
Short contextual teachings
-
Meditation and somatic exploration
-
Space for reflection and integration
There is no pressure to perform or share beyond your capacity.
The pace is steady.
The work is invitational.
The Weeks Between
On alternate weeks, you will meet with one consistent partner.
Not to fix one another.
Not to analyse.
But to practise.
To listen.
To notice.
To speak from Self.
You will be given simple experiential prompts to guide your time. Working with the same partner across the 12 weeks allows trust to build gradually, so the learning becomes embodied rather than conceptual.
Often it is in these quieter paired spaces that the work begins to feel real.
What We Will Be Exploring
At the centre is Somatic IFS — learning to notice Parts through sensation and to relate to them from grounded Self energy.
We will move through five embodied practices:
Somatic Awareness
Listening to what your body is already communicating.
Conscious Breathing
Returning to presence through breath.
Radical Resonance
Cultivating attunement — within and between.
Mindful Movement
Allowing the body to participate in integration.
Attuned Touch
Exploring safe self-contact as a resource for grounding.
These are simple practices.
Simple — but not shallow.
When practised consistently, they begin to reshape how you relate to yourself.
This Space May Be For You If…
-
You feel ready to meet yourself more directly
-
You are curious about Somatic IFS beyond an intellectual level
-
You want to embody Self leadership rather than strive toward it
-
You are open to practising with one other human in a steady way
-
You value depth over intensity
This is not crisis support or trauma processing.
Participants are responsible for having appropriate external support if needed.
What Tends to Emerge
Not dramatic transformation.
But something steadier.
-
A clearer relationship with Self
-
Greater awareness of Parts in the body
-
More capacity to pause
-
More trust in your internal system
-
More ease in relational presence
The group is intentionally small — no more than eight participants — so that subtlety is not lost.
Application
Because this is an intimate and experiential space, participation is by application.
If something in you feels quietly called — not rushed, not pressured — you are welcome to apply.
We begin where you are.
